25 x 44 cm; 44.5 x 62 cm framed

The artist was a studio pupil of William James Müller and travelled extensively in the Near East and the British Isles. This drawing shows the influence of Müller’s work with its broad handling. He exhibited extensively at the R.A. and his work is included in the collection of the V&A amongst others.

Ben Lui is near Tyndrum, one of the most beautiful mountains in the Southern Highlands and one of the Munros.
