Our winter selection ‘A Box of Delights’ is now available online

This eclectic selection of drawings and paintings has been especially put together for winter 2018. Including everything from portraits to interiors, spanning late eighteenth century Italy to early twentieth century Britain via late nineteenth century India, it is a real box of delights, with something to brighten everyone's winter.

This most probably depicts Russell Square or Brunswick Square which was destroyed to make way for the Brunswick
Shopping Centre.
There was a snowy winter in 1928-9 which may be the date of this painting
